**As of March 18th, this project was awarded to Truebeck Construction for $2,936,555.** The existing diagnostic imaging equipment in rooms 1835H and 1835I at the University of California Davis, Sacramento Campus, Davis Tower will be removed and replaced with new diagnostic imaging equipment provided by Philips Medical Systems. Work is to occur in two phases, with sequencing to be determined in collaboration with the user group during design validation. Additional work includes upgrade of finishes, lighting, casework/furniture system, plumbing, HVAC, and medical gas in these rooms. There will be an associated renovation of the control area in each room to accommodate the new equipment. Other work includes equipment anchorage to the floor and rerouting of electrical utilities below the floor as required to support the imaging equipment requirements. Pre-qualification requirements: The following design-build teams have been prequalified to submit proposals on this project: Clark Construction/LPA Design Studios, Colin Construction/Aspen Street Architects, Truebeck Construction/Nacht & Lewis Architects. Proposers must attend a mandatory virtual pre-proposal conference in its entirety to be allowed to propose on the project. The successful proposer will be required to have the following California contractor's license at the time of the proposal opening: “B” – General Building. Proposal security in the amount of 10% of the Lump Sum Base Proposal, excluding alternates, must accompany each bid. All insurance policies required to be obtained by the Design-Builder shall be subject to approval by the University and must be issued by an approved insurer.
