Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Bellevue, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Work to be performed under this contract includes: replacing failed compression seal expansion joints; surface preparation via shot blasting, bridge deck assessment, and repair; application of high molecular weight methacrylate (HMWM) or thin polymer overlay; traffic control including bridge or lane closures depending on the bridge; removal and installation of roadway channelization; cleanup and other miscellaneous work. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond in the form of cash, certified check, cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to at least 5% of the bid. The successful bidder must furnish a satisfactory performance and payment bond within the time stated in the specifications. Bidders must clearly mark the project name and bid number on the outside of the envelope. Bidders are required to include a Bidder Questionnaire (WSDOT Form 272-022) at the time of bid submission; failure to do so will result in the bid being deemed non-responsive and rejected. A Federal Small Business Enterprise Goal of 10% has been established for this contract. Supplemental responsible bidder criteria apply. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities and informalities in the bidding process.
