Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Bellevue, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The work includes the replacement of the chiller at Tyee Middle School. The scope consists of the following: demolition of the existing chiller and chiller appurtenances, demolition of existing chiller controls, installation of a new OFCI air-cooled chiller and related appurtenances, provision of chiller spring isolators and isolator base, provision of a chilled water buffer tank, installation of DDC controls at the chiller and pumps, electrical work to support the chiller, and structural work to support the chiller and buffer tank. Bidders are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid conference and walk-through. Access to project bid documents is provided free of charge via the designated online plan room. Bidders are recommended to register to receive notifications about addenda. A bid deposit of five percent of the base bid amount is required. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. No bidder may withdraw their bid after submission or before contract award unless the award is delayed for more than thirty days.
