Renovation of an educational facility in Bellevue, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The work consists of demolishing the existing chiller and chiller appurtenances, demolishing existing chiller controls, installing a new OFCI air cooled chiller and appurtenances, providing a chilled water buffer tank, providing DDC controls for the chiller, performing electrical work to support the chiller, and performing structural work to support the chiller and buffer tank. Bidders are required to submit a bid deposit of five percent (5%) of the amount of the base bid in the form of a surety bond, postal money order, cash, cashiers' check, or certified check. Deposits of unsuccessful bidders will be returned, except for the three lowest, which will be held until after the contract is awarded. The deposit of the successful bidder will be returned upon receipt and acceptance of the completed Performance and Payment Bond, Certificate of Insurance, and signed Contract Agreement. Bidders may not withdraw their bid after the deadline except if the award is delayed for more than thirty (30) days. The School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality.
