**As of February 23rd, 2026, the project was awarded to Dahme Construction, with an awarded amount of $212,072.54** All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The project consists of boring an additional storm sewer pipe under the railroad within the existing drainage way on the southwest quadrant of Ipswich, South Dakota. Bids must be submitted on the prescribed form and will be rejected if they show any conditions or uncalled for alternative bids. All bids shall be on the basis of cash payment according to the terms of the bidding documents. The submittal of a bid constitutes an incontrovertible representation by the bidder that they have examined the bidding documents, visited the site, are familiar with local conditions, and have correlated their observations with the requirements of the bidding documents. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security as specified in the bidding documents. The successful bidder must begin work upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed and complete the work within the contract time. Work is subject to liquidated damages.
