Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Salina, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The project consists of surface preparation and painting of the following improvements on and/or adjacent to the 531-foot-long North Ohio Street Bridge over the K&O Railroad and the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR): . Roadway fence - on the bridge . Pedestrian fence and integrated lights - on the bridge . Concrete barrier - on the bridge . 24 street light poles, including multiple color applications - 6 poles on the bridge . 46 pedestrian light poles, including multiple color applications - 0 poles on the bridge . 5 bollard lights - 0 on the bridge . Railroad rail on concrete barrier - on the bridge A Prebid conference will be held as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall be prequalified through KDOT for work specified under Work Type Q - Painting Structural Steel. The City of Salina, Kansas, reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any irregularities therein. Question Deadline 09/10/2026 Questions regarding these Instructions to Bidders or the other Contract Documents shall be submitted in writing to the project contact no later than seven (7) days prior to the opening of Bids.
