Sealed bids are requested for the construction of the Central High School Roof Replacement, located at 405 N. 2nd Avenue, Barstow, CA 92311. The bid package category is Roofing (CA License classification C-39), inclusive of all plans and specifications. Each bid must be submitted on a form provided by the District and be accompanied by the required bid bond security, bidder questionnaire, DIR registration verification, acknowledgment of bidding practices regarding indemnity, list of designated subcontractors, non-collusion declaration, and DVBE Participation Statement. A goal of 3% participation by Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises is required. Bidders must comply with all bidding and contract documents. All contractors and subcontractors must pay prevailing wages as per the California Labor Code. A 100% faithful performance bond and 100% payment bond are required for work exceeding $100,000. All contractors must be properly licensed and registered as public works contractors with the California Department of Industrial Relations. No bids may be withdrawn for ninety days after opening. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive irregularities.
