Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Barstow, California. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Form, Bid Bond, Subcontractors List, Proof of registration with the Department of Industrial Relations by both contractor and proposed subcontractors pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Certification of Workers' Compensation, and Agreement and Certification of Drug-Free Workplace. A payment bond and performance bond will be required prior to the execution of the contract. The District reserves the right to reject, as nonresponsive, any bid submitted without these forms completed. The District also reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities in any bid. There will be no engineers estimate available. Asphalt mix design shall conform to PG 64-16 performance grade. Crack fill material shall be Crafco Polyflex 4. Seal coat shall be GuardTop asphalt-based sealcoat. Parking Lot #1 1. Contractor shall clean and prep 875 LF of asphalt cracks that are less than 1" in width. Seal with specified hot rubberized crack sealer. 2. 265 LF of asphalt cracks measuring one inch (1") or greater in width, including areas where asphalt is heaving or separating one inch (1") or more along concrete joints, shall be milled to a depth of one and one-half inches (1.5") and a width of eighteen inches (18"). Millings shall be hauled to a legal disposal site. A tack coat shall be applied, followed by placement of new asphalt to a thickness of one and one-half inches (1.5"), compacted to achieve maximum density and a smooth finish. 3. Clean and prep 245 LF of gaps between asphalt and concrete curbs, and pack with new asphalt. 4. Mill 715 LF of heavily deteriorated asphalt to a depth of one and one-half inches (1.5"). Haul all millings to a legal disposal site. Apply a tack coat, then place and compact new asphalt to a thickness of one and one-half inches (1.5"), achieving maximum compaction and a smooth, uniform finish. 5. Clean and prep 10,605 SF area of new and existing asphalt and apply an oil spot primer to vehicle oil spots. Apply 2 coats of specified Seal Coat. 6. Contractor shall re-stripe the parking lot in accordance with the original design layout and shall install all additional traffic control markings and symbols necessary to comply with the California Vehicle Code and any other applicable federal, state, or local requirements to promote safe and lawful traffic circulation. 7. Striping: o Parking Stall - 14 ea. o ADA Stall Striping w/Loading Zone - 2 ea. o Directional Arrow - 2 ea. o "STOP" Lettering w/Stop Bar - 1 ea. o Cross Hatching - 340 SF o Cross Walk Strips - 85 LF o Red Curb Striping - 390 LF o Blue Curb Striping - 50 LF Parking Lot #2 1. Contractor shall clean and prep 5,345 LF of asphalt cracks that are less than 1" in width. Seal with specified hot rubberized crack sealer. 2. 4,770 LF of asphalt cracks measuring one inch (1") or greater in width, including areas where asphalt is heaving or separating one inch (1") or more along concrete joints, shall be milled to a depth of one and one-half inches (1.5") and a width of eighteen inches (18"). Millings shall be hauled to a legal disposal site. A tack coat shall be applied, followed by placement of new asphalt to a thickness of one and one-half inches (1.5"), compacted to achieve maximum density and a smooth finish. 3. Clean and prep 700 LF of gaps between asphalt and concrete curbs, and pack with new asphalt. 4. Clean and prep an area of 76,290 SF of new and existing asphalt and apply an oil spot primer to vehicle oil spots. Apply 2 coats of specified Seal coat. 5. Contractor shall remove, dispose of, and replace two (2) damaged or broken wheel stops with new ones. Wheel stops shall be secured using adhesive and pinning methods. Locations will be confirmed during the job walk and included in the base bid. 6. Contractor shall re-stripe the parking lot in accordance with the original design layout and shall install all additional traffic control markings and symbols necessary to comply with the California Vehicle Code and any other applicable federal, state, or local requirements to promote safe and lawful traffic circulation. 7. Seal with specified hot rubberized crack sealer. 2. 730 LF of all asphalt cracks measuring one inch (1") or greater in width, including areas where asphalt is heaving or separating one inch (1") or more along concrete joints and shall be milled to a depth of one and one-half inches (1.5") and a width of eighteen inches (18"). Millings shall be hauled to a legal disposal site. A tack coat shall be applied, followed by placement of new asphalt to a thickness of one and one-half inches (1.5"), compacted to achieve maximum density and a smooth finish. 3. Contractor shall clean and prep 556 LF at all gaps between asphalt and concrete curbs, and pack with new asphalt. 4. Clean and prep 50,050 square feet of new and existing asphalt and apply an oil spot primer to vehicle oil spots. Apply 2 coats of specified Seal coat. 5. Mill 1,500 SF of heavily deteriorated asphalt, in areas to be identified, to a depth of three inches (3"). Haul all millings to a legal disposal site. Apply a tack coat, then place and compact new asphalt to a thickness of three inches (3"), achieving maximum compaction and a smooth, uniform finish. 6. Contractor shall remove, dispose of, and replace One (1) damaged or broken wheel stops with new ones. Wheel stops shall be secured using adhesive and pinning methods. Location will be confirmed during the job walk and included in the base bid. 7. Contractor shall re-stripe the parking lot in accordance with the original design layout and shall install all additional traffic control markings and symbols necessary to comply with the California Vehicle Code and any other applicable federal, state, or local requirements to promote safe and lawful traffic circulation. 8. Millings shall be hauled to a legal disposal site. A tack coat shall be applied, followed by placement of new asphalt to a thickness of one and one-half inches (1.5"), compacted to achieve maximum density and a smooth finish. 3. Clean and prep 500 LF gaps between asphalt and concrete curbs, and pack with new asphalt. 4. Clean and prep 100,710 SF area of new and existing asphalt and apply an oil spot primer to vehicle oil spots. Apply 2 coats of specified Seal coat. 5. Contractor shall remove, dispose of, and replace fourteen (14) damaged or broken wheel stops with new ones. Wheel stops shall be secured using adhesive and pinning methods. Seal with specified hot rubberized crack sealer. 2. 340 LF of asphalt cracks that are 1" wide or wider, including areas where asphalt is heaving or separating 1" + along concrete joints, will be milled to 1.5" depth and 18" wide. Haul Millings to legal dumpsite. Apply a tack coat, then overlay with new asphalt to 1.5" thick. Compact to a maximum compaction for a smooth finish. 3. Sawcut and remove 10 SF of asphalt at the parking lot entry. Haul all removed material to a legal disposal site. Regrade and recompact the subgrade, then patch with new asphalt to a thickness of three inches (3"). Compact to achieve maximum density and a smooth, uniform finish. 4. Clean and prep 6,085 SF gaps between asphalt and concrete curbs, and pack with new asphalt. 5. Clean and prep all area of new and existing asphalt and apply an oil spot primer to vehicle oil spots. Apply 2 coats of specified Seal Coat. 6. Contractor shall remove, dispose of, and replace one (1) damaged or broken wheel stops with new ones. Clean and prep 1,315 LF of gaps between asphalt and concrete curbs, and pack with new asphalt. 4. Clean and prep 35,785 SF area of new and existing asphalt and apply an oil spot primer to vehicle oil spots. Apply 2 coats of specified Seal coat. 5. Contractor shall reposition three (3) ADA wheel stops. Wheel stops shall be secured using adhesive and pinning methods. Locations will be confirmed during the job walk and included in the base bid. 6. Clean and prep 85 LF of gaps between asphalt and concrete curbs, and pack with new asphalt. 4. Clean and prep 15,455 SF of area of new and existing asphalt and apply an oil spot primer to vehicle oil spots. Apply 2 coats of specified Seal coat. 5. Contractor shall re-stripe the parking lot in accordance with the original design layout and shall install all additional traffic control markings and symbols necessary to comply with the California Vehicle Code and any other applicable federal, state, or local requirements to promote safe and lawful traffic circulation. 6. Haul Millings to legal dumpsite. Apply a tack coat, then overlay with new asphalt to 1.5" thick. Compact to a maximum compaction for a smooth finish. 3. Clean and prep 260 LF of gaps between asphalt and concrete curbs, and pack with new asphalt. 4. Sawcut and remove 18 square feet (6' x 3') area of heaved asphalt. Excavate and remove underlying tree roots contributing to pavement damage. Regrade and compact the subgrade to proper specifications. Install and compact new asphalt to a finished thickness of 3 inches, ensuring a smooth and uniform surface. 5. Clean and prep 20,320 SF of new and existing asphalt and apply an oil spot primer to vehicle oil spots. Apply 2 coats of specified Seal coat. 6. Contractor shall re-stripe the parking lot in accordance with the original design layout and shall install all additional traffic control markings and symbols necessary to comply with the California Vehicle Code and any other applicable federal, state, or local requirements to promote safe and lawful traffic circulation. 7.
