These Special Provisions provide additional guidance and specifics for the construction of the MohaveRattlesnake Design Project which is located north of the East Grace Neal Parkway crossing of Mohave Wash, west of State Route 66 in Unincorporated Mohave County, Arizona. The northern (downstream) end of the project is approximately 5,400 feet downstream (northeast) of the East Grace Neal Parkway crossing of Mohave Wash. The project includes basin and channel grading, installation of dumped and/or grouted riprap, construction of concrete ford crossings, and the construction of two concrete diversion/cut-off wall structures. The work performed and materials used in this project shall be in accordance with the 2025 Uniform Standard Specifications and Details for Public Works Construction, sponsored and distributed by the Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG). These Special Provisions are applicable to the plans prepared by JE Fuller (Construction Drawings) and serve as a supplement to the MAG Standard Specifications and Details for Public Works Construction. The intent and purpose of these Special Provisions are to interpret, correct, modify, and supplement the Uniform Standard Specifications to the extent and in the manner specifically referred to, and to provide additional specifications. The Standard Specifications, together with these Special Provisions, shall constitute the Contract Specifications for this project. Before submitting a response to this solicitation, Offeror must familiarize itself with the Scope of Work, laws, regulations, physical conditions, and other factors affecting the obligations - including the expense and difficulty of fulfilling those obligations - that Offeror will have under the Contract if awarded to Offeror. No adjustment to the financial or other terms of the Contract will be justified by Offeror's failure to fully understand or appreciate the Contract requirements or other factors affecting Contract performance. The project involves the construction of a detention basin northeast of Kingman, AZ.
