Site work for a mixed-use development in Logan, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility; and water / sewer project.
Each proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or certified check equivalent to 5% of the amount of bid , payable to the order of the Harrison County Landfill Commission (HCLC ), as security that the successful bidder will enter into a contract for the work bid upon and will furnish after the award of contract a corporate surety bond , acceptable to the governing body , for the faithful performance of the contract . This sum shall be forfeited in case the selected bidder fails to enter into the contract within fifteen days after the contract has been awarded . No Bidder may withdraw their Bid after the time for opening bids has passed. Doc note: Plans and specifications will be provided electronically at no cost in a portable document format (pdf ) to interested bidders . The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids , waive or not waive any informalities in the Bids received and to accept any proposal which is deemed most favorable to the interests of the Owner All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. .
