The Town of Severance, Colorado is soliciting proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide professional services for Construction Management, Inspection, and Materials Testing Services for the construction of the Great Western Trail Connection between E. Harmony Road and Weld County Road 23. Construction will begin around April 2026 with a concrete trail along the Great Western Railroad between E. Harmony Road and Weld County Road 23, including two short connections to two culdesacs at 1st and 2nd Avenues and two roadway crossings with rapid flashing beacons at E. Harmony Road and Weld County Road 23. An alternate bid item includes high performance glow in the dark stones within the concrete substrate. The project is partially funded with State and Federal grant funds. Proposals must be submitted electronically to the Town of Severance by the specified deadline. Proposals shall be emailed to the Town of Severance Project Manager, with the subject line reading “RFQ for CM, I & MT Services for GW TRAIL.” All questions or requests for clarification shall be emailed to the Town of Severance Project Manager by the deadline for questions.
