LEWIS CENTRAL COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT is requesting bids for the construction of Middle School Parking Lot Improvements. The work includes furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment required for the project and all other work necessary or incidental thereto, as per plans and specifications. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, mobilization; excavation; pavement, sidewalk, and structure removal; storm sewer installation and removal; fire hydrant assembly removal and installation; site grading; PCC pavement and sidewalk construction; painted pavement markings; temporary traffic control; installation of traffic signs, fencing, gates, segmental block retaining wall, speed bumps, wheel stops, accessible stall markings and signage, trench drains, bollards, curb ramps; seeding, silt fence installation and removal, track out control, inlet protection devices, and site lighting. All bids must be submitted on forms furnished in the plan set and enclosed in a sealed envelope. Each bid must include bid security in a separate envelope in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or Bid Bond for 5% of the bid amount. The bid security must be payable to LEWIS CENTRAL COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT as a guarantee that the bidder, if successful, will execute the agreement and provide an acceptable Contract Bond for 100% of the contract price. Payment to contractors will be made monthly at 90% of completed work value, with the balance paid upon completion and approval of the work. Question Deadline 02/19/2026 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
