The work consists of approximately 3,675 lineal feet of street construction, including traffic control, bituminous pavement removal, milling of bituminous pavement, sawing, concrete curb and gutter repairs, concrete sidewalk repair, pedestrian ramp construction, preparation of aggregate base course, bituminous pavement, lawn restoration, and epoxy pavement marking. Bidders are instructed to submit sealed bids to the Office of the City Purchasing Manager as specified. A 5% bid security is required. Fourteenth Street, from Folsom St to Truax Blvd. Construction on Fourteenth Street shall consist of traffic control, milling 2-inches of bituminous pavement, saw cutting, removal and replacement of curb and gutter, removal of concrete sidewalk, installation of concrete pedestrian ramps, restoration adjacent to concrete repairs, paving 2-inch asphaltic concrete surface and epoxy pavement marking. Ninth Street, from Platt St to Vine St. Construction on Ninth Street shall consist of traffic control, milling 2-inches of bituminous pavement, saw cutting, removal and replacement of curb and gutter, restoration adjacent to concrete repairs and paving 2-inch asphaltic concrete surface. No work shall begin on Contract 2026-10, on any street, prior to Monday, May 11, 2026, without approval of the Engineer
