The Department of Fire Prevention & Electrical Safety, through the Wyoming Fire Academy, seeks bids from qualified contractors to modify and upgrade the existing natural gas training prop field. The project involves dividing the current natural gas system into two independently functioning sections-one remaining on natural gas and the other converted to operate on propane. The work will include the fabrication and installation of new live fire training props, expansion of fuel infrastructure, and associated site work in Riverton, Wyoming. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the dual-fuel conversion, prop fabrication, and installation. The system will support two distinct fuel zones: one for natural gas and one for propane, each operating independently and safely. Telephone calls, emails, or faxes may not be accepted for questions. Question Deadline 02/24/2026 at 5:00 PM MT Closing date for questions submitted via online portal. If a bid is greater than $150,000, a 10% bid deposit or bond is required in one of the approved forms and must be received as specified. Bidders must register on the Public Purchase website and ensure their submission is fully uploaded before the deadline, as incomplete uploads will be deemed non-responsive.
