The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality, Abandoned Mine Land Division (AML) will conduct one selection for one professional service contract pursuant to Wyoming Statute 9-23-101 through 3-23-107. Services required may include pre-design investigations, eligibility determinations, historic records review, landowner consent acquisition, identification of preferred construction alternatives, preparation of final designs, assembling bid documents, conducting bid tours, revegetation and invasive species management, and/or special surveys and reporting as directed by AML. Firms to be considered for selection regarding Engineering Services must be registered with the Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors (Board) to perform engineering services in the State of Wyoming. Engineering work products must be stamped and signed by a Registered Professional Engineer. To be qualified for the engineering design project subject to AML 2026 Professional Services Selection, firms must demonstrate experience in design and construction management of major mine land reclamation activities, including earth moving, erosion control, revegetation, surface water hydrology and reconstruction of natural drainages, soils analysis and management, handling of hazardous, unsuitable, and radioactive materials, and other activities associated with land reclamation on a large scale. Experience and demonstrated competency in AML/OSM eligibility determination, state and federal permit procedures, ownership and lessee relations, the acquisition of access consents and clearances, and coordination with other affected agencies is preferred.
