The project consists of sanitary relief sewer installation, catch basin and storm installation, concrete pavement reconstruction, curb, curb ramp repairs, and sidewalk repairs. Bidders must obtain plans, specifications, and all addenda from the designated website and are responsible for all printing and delivery fees, which are non-refundable. Contractors are required to pay prevailing wages in accordance with the relevant sections of the Ohio Revised Code. Each bid must be submitted using the provided proposal forms and include the full name of every interested person, firm, or corporation, accompanied by a bid guaranty in the form of a certified or cashier's check (10% of the total bid) or a bond (100% of the total bid), payable to the City of Middleburg Heights, in compliance with O.R.C. 153.54. Evidence of experience on projects of similar size and complexity must be provided. Contractors and subcontractors must use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor to the extent practicable, and comply with equal employment opportunity requirements. Proposals must ensure non-discrimination based on race, creed, color, sex, or national origin. Sealed bids must be marked appropriately.
