Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Sealed bids will be received for General Pavement Services for 2026 within the City of Middleburg Heights. Bidders must purchase specifications, bidding forms, and any addenda from the designated website. Bidders are responsible for printing and delivery fees, which are not refundable. Each bid must contain the full name or names of the interested parties, and corporations not chartered in Ohio must provide a certificate authorizing them to do business in Ohio. Bids must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the form of a certified or cashier's check drawn on a solvent Ohio bank, together with consent of surety in the amount of 10% of the total bid, or a bond equal to 100% of the total bid, as prescribed in O.R.C. 153.54. This serves as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into, or the check or bond will be forfeited as liquidated damages. Bidders must use the printed proposal forms provided. Contractors must pay prevailing wages in accordance with Chapter 4115 of the Ohio Revised Code and make necessary wage adjustments during the contract term. The Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities, and accept the bid deemed most favorable to the City. The City is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Question Deadline 03/17/2026 If any person contemplating submitting a BID for the proposed PROJECT is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, they may submit to the DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE a written request for an interpretation thereof at least 8 days prior to the date set for the receiving of proposals.
