Clarifier No. 1 Blow Off Valve Replacements: Replace three existing pneumatic actuated butterfly valves with new electric actuated butterfly valves. Coordinate with plant operators to remove existing clarifier from service. Abandon existing air piping and plug existing piping at blower header. Remove existing pneumatic actuators and butterfly valves, and replace with new 4-inch Pratt 2FII AWWA Butterfly valves with Beck electric actuators. Power new actuators with 120V from new 10 amp circuits in the existing Filter Valve Actuator Load Center in the Filter Gallery. Control new actuators using existing open/close control wiring from the Filter Control Room. Install a support beam mounted on top of existing concrete to support existing piping, new valves, and fittings. Clean and paint all new and existing piping and valves. Clarifier No. 2 Blow Off Valve Replacements: Replace three existing pneumatic actuated butterfly valves with new electric actuated butterfly valves. Coordinate with plant operators to remove existing clarifier from service. Abandon existing air piping and plug existing piping at blower header. Remove existing pneumatic actuators and butterfly valves, and replace with new 3-inch Pratt 2FII AWWA Butterfly valves with Beck electric actuators. Power new actuators with 120V from new 10 amp circuits in the existing Filter Valve Actuator Load Center in the Filter Gallery. Control new actuators using existing open/close control wiring from the Filter Control Room. Install support beams and pipe supports as shown. Remove existing grating and support angle as shown. Remove and replace hand railing and install self-closing gate. Clean and paint all new and existing piping and valves.
