Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Northfield, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
2026 Spring Creek Road Reconstruction and Mill Towns State Trail Improvements Type of Work: Grading, aggregate base, plant mixed bituminous pavement, concrete curb and gutter, ADA improvements, storm sewer, water main, bituminous trail. The major items of work are approximately: 59 Tree Clearing & Grubbing 5,000 CY Excavation-common 2,350 Ton Type Sp 9.5 Wearing Course Mixture (3,C) 2,260 LF 12" Water Main Ductile Iron Cl 52 1,390 LF Concrete Curb & Gutter Design B618 Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bidder's Bond or Certified Check in an amount equal to at least 5% of the total bid made payable to the City of Northfield City Clerk. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the awarded bid. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities thereof. Any bidder who in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the plans, specifications or other Bidding Documents, may submit to the Engineer a written request for an explanation or interpretation thereof at least seven (7) days prior to the scheduled Bid opening.
