Sealed bids are invited for Project 2026-02, Asphalt Resurfacing in Various Townships in Boone County, Indiana. The work includes all general construction, labor, materials, tools, equipment, taxes, permits, licenses, insurance, and service costs incidental to and required for the project. Bidders must obtain complete plans and specifications and bear the risk for any errors in bids prepared using incomplete documents. Proposals must be enclosed in a sealed envelope with project title, bid opening date, and bidder's name and address. Required bid documents include: Bidder's Itemized Proposal and Declarations, Bid Bond, and Standard Questionnaire and Financial Statement. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or acceptable Bidder's Bond for 5% of the total proposal amount, payable to the Boone County Auditor. The successful bidder must enter into contract and furnish a performance bond within ten days of notification. All bids must comply with the minimum requirements. Any deviations must be cited and approved. The Boone County Highway Department reserves the right to clarify bids and reject non-compliant bids. Bids are valid for 90 days from opening. The County complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act and provides accommodations upon advance request. If a Bidder finds conflicts, errors, discrepancies or ambiguities in the Contract Documents or any sample form, or if the Bidder is in doubt as to the intended meaning of any portion or provision therein, the Bidder shall at once give written notice thereof to the Project Manager, at least seven (7) consecutive calendar days prior to the Bid Date
