Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Wayland, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The project includes full roadway reconstruction and utility upgrades on N. Locust Street and Lorene Street from E. Maple Street to E. Elm Street. The work consists of HMA removal and replacement, curb and gutter, water main replacement, water services, storm sewer improvements, sidewalk removal and replacement, driveway approaches, signage, pavement markings, restoration, and various appurtenances. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bank draft from a solvent Michigan bank or a bid bond in an amount equal to 5 percent of the bid. No bids may be withdrawn for at least ninety days after the deadline. The successful bidder must furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond each for 100 percent of the contract price. Local contractors and labor are encouraged. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding. Completion of All Work 09/04/2026
