**As of May 20, 2026, this project has been awarded.** The work includes a combination of complete roof replacements and roof restorations on existing school buildings. All work will be completed during the summer break. B14-26, B15-26, B16-26, B17-26, and B18-26 separate bids and contractors may bid on any or all sites listed. The Bidder is required to possess a valid State of California contractor's license in classification C-39 (Roofing Contractor). The Bidder's license must remain active and in good standing throughout the term of the Contract. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to the Labor Code. The Bidder's registration must remain active throughout the term of the Contract. Each bidder is solely responsible for timely submission of its bid; the District is not responsible for any technological issues in a bidder's ability to timely submit its bid or portion thereof. A bid bond by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District, cash, or a cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the Lompoc Unified School District, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, shall accompany the Bid Form and Proposal, as a guarantee that the Bidder will, within seven (7) calendar days after the date of the Notice of Award, enter into a contract with the District for the performance of the services as stipulated in the bid. Questions must be submitted through PlanetBids by, April 14, 2026, 5:00PM. Questions and Answers will be posted in the Planet Bids portal by the end of the day on Friday, April 17, 2026. The Board of Education of the Lompoc Unified School District reserves the right to reject any and all submittals. The District makes no representation that participation in the bid process will lead to an award of contract or any consideration whatsoever. In no event will the District be responsible for the cost of preparing a response to this bid. The District also reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in received submittals. All Respondents will be responsible for obtaining any addendums or revisions to the project which will be posted in the same manner as the bid documents.
