The work involves providing Architect-Engineering services to design the complete replacement of existing dry sprinkler systems at two VA Finger Lakes Health Care System campuses. Responsibilities include preparing schematics, design development, construction documents, technical specifications, cost estimates, construction-period services, site visits, and as-built documentation. The work covers demolition and replacement of current dry sprinkler systems in numerous buildings, integration with existing fire control systems, staging plans in healthcare living areas, extensive site surveys, and support to contractors through review of Quality Assurance Plans, Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans, Accident Prevention Plans, commissioning activities, construction site inspections, submittal and shop-drawing reviews, project change documentation, and project closeout deliverables including As-Builts, O\&M materials, and warranties. The A/E shall deliver 100% bid documents in 180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
