Renovation of a recreation facility in New Port Richey, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 16,500-square-foot recreation facility.

The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, services, and incidentals necessary to remove the existing concrete flat roof system and install a new flat roof system at 6630 Van Buren St., New Port Richey, FL 34653. The concrete flat roof is approximately 16,500 square feet. The scope includes removing the existing system to the concrete deck and disposing of it; removing, reinstalling, and securing lightning detection tension wiring; removing and replacing all conductor heads and downspouts; inspecting and replacing any damaged roof deck or flashing; cleaning or preparing the concrete roof deck to meet manufacturer's specifications; installing new fully adhered insulation with a taper system for proper drainage; installing all new coping, coping caps, counterflashing, drip edge, wall flashings, and scuppers to match existing metal color; installing a new fully adhered 60 Mil GAF manufactured or an agreed upon equal or better product TPO roofing system mechanically fastened; and ensuring on-site security and access management. Instructions to bidders include: submitting bids in triplicate on the prescribed Proposal forms with bid security of not less than 5 percent of the base bid amount along with one electronic copy on a USB flash drive; marking the envelope clearly with the bidder's name, address, and project name; providing necessary contract bonds and insurance executed or countersigned by a licensed resident agent in Florida; complying with licensing requirements; and submitting credentials for evaluation if requested. The City of New Port Richey reserves the right to reject any or all bids for any reason, including non-responsiveness, unqualified or doubtful financial ability, or failure to meet criteria established by the owner.
