Site work and paving for a road / highway in Waupun, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The project consists of bituminous milling, pulverizing, and bituminous paving of existing streets at the following locations: River Rd from E. Spring St to Frontage Rd, W. Brown St from Hillyer St to RR Tracks, Vliet St from Taylor St to Termini, Elm Ave from W. Jefferson St to STH 49, and Sawyer St from S. Grove St to Termini. All proposals must be made on blank forms furnished by the City of Waupun and in accordance with the General Instructions to Bidders. Plans, specifications, and contract documents may be examined and/or obtained at the Office of the Director of Public Works, 201 East Main Street, Waupun, WI. No deposit is required for bidding purposes. Proposal envelopes must be clearly marked "BID-ASPHALT PAVING CONTRACT." Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, equivalent to five percent of the minimum proposal base bid, to guarantee contract execution and performance security if accepted. The successful bidder must furnish payment and performance bonds within 15 days after the award or forfeit the check or bid bond to the City of Waupun as liquidated damages. No bid may be withdrawn for 60 days after opening. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive or not waive formalities. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages.
