Bid is cancelled The project involves replacing and re-aligning approximately 420 linear feet of 42-inch corrugated metal pipe (CMP) with 42-inch reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) and installing five drainage structures. It includes abandoning about 210 linear feet of existing 42-inch CMP and 265 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer pipe. Soil grout and miscellaneous grading will be required to repair a sinkhole that has developed in the greenspace between the fire department and Ridge Street NW above the failing CMP storm drainage system. Foundation protection will be installed on the north side of the fire department building. The work must address that the existing storm drainage and sanitary sewer systems are 25 feet and 30 feet deep, respectively, necessitating special consideration for sheeting/shoring during construction. Additional work includes utility coordination, traffic control, erosion control, and site improvements. Bids will be received for a single prime contract and must be submitted on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Only registered plan holders may bid as a General Contractor.
