The project is for Pavement Management Phase IV Meals Avenue, under contract number 2450. All bids must be submitted electronically through Bid Express. Hard copy or paper submissions will not be accepted. Bids are to be submitted on the provided forms and must be signed as required. Bidders must quote on all items, and alternative bids will not be accepted unless requested. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid is required. Current minimum prevailing wage rates as published by the Alaska Department of Labor must be paid if required by law. Requirements of the Alaska Employment Preference (AS 36.10) must be met. The City of Valdez 'Standard Specifications and Standard Details' shall be used.
