The project involves water system improvements consisting of the installation of a pump station and new water main and appurtenances. The pump station project includes the installation of a new cement masonry unit building, two domestic service pumps, two fire pumps, hydropneumatic tanks, and all necessary interior plumbing, electrical, and mechanical appurtenances such as piping, valving, lighting, heating, pump controls (VFD), and a manual transfer switch. Exterior work includes driveway improvements, watermain connections, and other building services. The watermain improvements include new watermain installation along West Hill Road and within the intersection of Hillcrest and Hoffman Street, including all excavation, thrust restraint, valves, hydrants, cut/cap, backfill, restoration, installation of all necessary fittings, valves, and appurtenances, along with appropriate coordination and maintenance and protection of traffic. Separate bids will be received for General Construction (Building), Electrical Construction (Building), and Plumbing Construction (Building), each on a lump sum basis.
