A Vendor shall submit an in-place bid price for each county in which they can supply paving per the terms and conditions of this Solicitation and the Standard Specifications. That bid price will be applicable to all locations within the geographical boundary of that county. By bidding and accepting a Contract, Vendors agree to treat the Department as a preferred and priority customer. Failure to do so may be cause for Contract cancellation. When service is not provided according to the Contract, the Division of Purchases reserves the right to make the purchase on the open market, with any cost in excess of the Contract price to be paid by the successful bidder. Except as provided herein, conform to all requirements of the Transportation Cabinet's Current Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. Section references herein are to the Cabinet's Current Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. Modification to answer questions in reference to this solicitation.
