The Hickory Blvd Roundabout Site Improvement project includes the landscaping and beautification of the roundabout, along with the installation of an irrigation system. The work must be completed according to the contract documents which include these Supplemental Conditions, the Technical Specifications, and Bid Plans. Upon completion of the work and before acceptance and final payment will be made, the Contractor shall remove from the site all machinery, equipment, surplus, discarded materials, rubbish, temporary structures, and stump or portions of trees. Contractor shall cut all brush and woods within the limits indicated and shall leave the site in neat and presentable condition. Materials cleared from the site and deposited on adjacent property will not be considered as having been disposed of satisfactorily, unless the Contractor has obtained the written permission of such adjacent property Owner. Qualified contractors are invited to submit sealed bids for the Hickory Boulevard Roundabout Site Improvement Project. All bids must be made on the official Bid Form provided by the City, properly signed, and submitted with one original, two copies, a flash drive, and all required attachments. Bids are binding offers and must remain firm for up to ninety days following the public opening. The selected contractor will be required to enter into a contract using the City's forms. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid conference is required for bid consideration. Questions regarding procedures or specifications must be submitted in writing by the stated deadline. Contractors are required to check the City's website for any addenda or clarifications. The City reserves the right to amend requirements, reject any or all bids, waive defects, re-advertise, and select the bid that best meets City requirements.
