The Town of Yacolt is seeking plumbing services for a library project. The successful bidder(s) must be licensed to work in Washington state with a City Endorsement from the Town of Yacolt, be registered with the WA Dept. of Labor and Industries to pay prevailing wage, and be bonded and insured with minimum coverage of $1M/$2M. The work involves trenching, concrete drilling, excavation and backfill, and installation of new pipes and plumbing fixtures, to be completed Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm. All work must pass inspection by the Town's building inspector. Tasks to be performed include: removing a toilet seat and sealing the old floor pipe, core drilling through the wall and installing a new toilet flange to the outside, installing a new 3" vent terminating about 10 feet above grade, excavating and backfilling a septic line with rock, installing a new 2" waste pipe for a sink drain connected to the vent pipe, connecting the main drain to the existing septic tank drain line, capping and abandoning the old drain line near the building, replacing stop valves for toilet and sink with new 1/4 turn valves, installing a new chrome 4" center 2-handle ADA-compliant faucet, installing a new grid strainer domed drain and p-trap assembly, securing permits and inspections, and providing a minimum 1-year parts and labor warranty and a 10-year workmanship warranty. Evaluation criteria include fees and costs, quality of previous performance, ability to meet deadlines, responsiveness to proposal requirements, compliance with relevant statutes and rules, and licensing/certification. Sealed bids may be hand delivered, mailed, or emailed as instructed.
