As per the Owner the project has been Withdrawn. Description: This project, located in Washington County, is for the construction of a portion of MD 66 (Mapleville Road) from 940 feet south of the MD 64 intersection and extending in the northerly direction for 250 feet north of the intersection for a total distance of 0.23 miles. The project includes the construction of a portion of MD 64 (Jefferson Boulevard) from Old Georgetown Road and extending in an easterly direction to MD 77 for a total distance of 1.44 miles. The work will consist of the following: (a) Roadway milling and resurfacing/overlay (b) Full depth pavement patching and full depth pavement widening (c) Ditch trimming and brush removal (d) Traffic barrier and traffic barrier end treatments (e) Erosion and Sediment Control measures (f) Signing and Pavement Marking (g) Traffic signal removal and reconstruction (h) Curb and gutter replacement (i) Landscaping (j) Maintenance of Traffic (k) Grading and Earthwork (l) Storm drain pipes and structures Pre-Bid Conference: A Pre-Bid Conference has not been scheduled for this Project Classification: E - $2,500,001 to $5,000,000 In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00. However, bids $100,000.00 and above will not be considered unless a Bid Security is submitted as outlined in the Invitation for Bids. Bid Security shall equal at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. Also, the successful bidder will be required to supply Payment and Performance Bonds for all Contracts in excess of $100,000.00 The MDOT SHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
