Reference Number 0000411712 Job Location Rio Blanco County Road 5 Road Name County Road 5 Length 35 miles Rio Blanco County, hereafter ("the County") is requesting proposals from qualified and experienced construction firms to provide on-call weather response services for County Road 5 (CR 5, Piceance Creek Road). This work supports fire recovery efforts following the Lee Fire and is intended to reduce post-fire flood risk, maintain roadway access, and ensure drainage infrastructure remains functional. The selected contractor will provide debris removal from the roadway after weather events and clear culverts/minor bridges/cattle crossings that have been plugged by previous weather events. Question Deadline 02/11/2026 at 5:00 PM MT Questions are submitted online End Date: October 15, 2026 All culverts and minor bridges/cattle crossings must be fully cleaned and operational by July 15, 2026, and maintained in that condition through October 15, 2026. The County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive informalities, and select the proposal deemed most advantageous to the County and the Lee Fire recovery effort.
