Site work for a water / sewer project in Milford, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Construction of approximately 620 linear feet of new eight-inch diameter ductile iron water Main Street to Spring Street and associated valves, fittings, hydrants, and service connections. The existing water main shall be abandoned and left in place. All service connections are to be completed after the water main successfully passes pressure testing and chlorination procedures. All water main work shall be completed within 60 consecutive calendar days. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount. A Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required. Minimum wage rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Labor and Industries under the provision of the M.G.L. c. 149, 26 through 27H apply to this project.
