Lynn Housing Authority & Neighbourhood Development Invitation for Bids Building Repair Service as Needed The Lynn Housing Authority & Neighbourhood Development is soliciting bids from general contractors for minor building repair services on an as needed basis at Curwin Circle. Services are for on-call labor, materials, equipment, transportation, disposal and supervision necessary to perform general building repair and maintenance services as directed by the Lynn Housing Authority & Neighbourhood Development at Curwin Circle. Contract is for a maximum of one year (1) or maximum spending of $220,000.00. Expected contract award date is in March of 2026. Bids are subject to the minimum prevailing wage rates as required by M.G.L.c.149 26 - 27D. A bid deposit of 5% of the budgeted amount and a 100% payment bond are required of all prospective bidders; any contractor failing to do so will be disqualified from the bid process. Bid Deposit must be in the form of a certified, treasurer's or cashier's check payable to the Lynn Housing Authority & Neighbourhood Development from a responsible bank or trust company or a bid bond from a licensed surety. Bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) to perform work for at least $220,000.00. The Lynn Housing Authority & Neighbourhood Development reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids or any part thereof and make award as may appear in the best interest of the Lynn Housing Authority & Neighbourhood Development. Purchasing Agent will prepare the notice of award and awarding of this contract.
