Summary Project Description: Provide new fully adhered, gray color, 60-mil Ethylene-Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) roof system with 20 year warranty to existing metal PBR roof panel of the Covered Arena building at the Sunnyview Exposition Center grounds, and in addition to other work as described in the bid documents. The Project consists of the construction of Roof Replacement at the Expo Center Covered Arena building. The Work: Without force and effect on requirements of contract documents, the (incomplete) description of the work of the contract can be summarized as follows: 1. Project Roof Areas R-1, R-2: a. Expo Center Covered Arena - Area 1, 2 Roof Replacement 1) Base Bid Work R-1, R-2: The Project consists of cleaning existing metal PBR roof panel and replacement with new gray 60 mil (EPDM) flexible sheet roofing (FSR) system, with manufacturer's warranty (20 year), as identified herein and identified on the drawings on roof areas <1> and <2> at the Expo Center Covered Arena. 2) Alternate #1 Work R-1, R-2: The Project is as described in number 1 Base Bid Work above, but black 90 mil EPDM to be substituted for gray 60 mil EPDM with manufacturer's warranty (30 year).
