The scope of work consists of providing all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, removals, legal disposal of all debris, and supplying all designated materials and incidentals necessary or convenient for new carpet and vinyl cove base in the Faculty Office Building -West Wing area. Major work includes preparing the existing orchestra pit area for installation of a new pit cover system, providing and installing the new pit cover system as described in the construction documents, providing training for assembly of the pit cover system with a recorded video, providing adequate storage carts for all platforms, legs, braces, and hardware, and clearly marking all platforms, legs, and braces for efficient reinstallation. The contractor is also responsible for scheduling work with the college Theatre department, cleaning all spaces affected by the work, and providing a complete list of all new pit system components and sub-contractor information for record and future maintenance. Contractors must maintain building access and egress, park in university-approved locations, provide all labor and equipment for project completion, review all dimensions and material quantities, and perform daily and final cleanup. Work not included must be coordinated with the University. All construction work must comply with manufacturer's standards, NY State Building Code, and applicable regulations. The contractor must protect existing conditions during construction, obtain university approval for dumpster and trailer locations, and follow the Campus Impairment Program without disrupting fire alarms. Contractors must submit a preliminary construction schedule with benchmark dates as part of their bid and coordinate temporary pathways to maintain campus operations during construction. Sufficient skilled staff and equipment must be provided to meet project deadlines. No alternates are specified. SDVOB, MBE, and WBE contracting goals apply. *No bids received*
