The project involves the construction of ADA Ramps in various municipalities for Allegheny County Department of Public Works under County Project No: ADAR-2025. Bidders are required to follow all bidding requirements and contract conditions as set forth. Bid forms must be submitted with all specified executed documents, including bid security, bidder certification of pre-qualification, classification and work capacity, list of subcontractors, statement of joint venture participation, MBE and WBE goals attainment certification (if unable to meet specified goals), work sheet for required amount performed by contractor, MBE/WBE subcontractor and supplier solicitation sheet, and MBE/WBE subcontractor and supplier commitment sheet. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty days after submission. The County Manager reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive informalities. All responsive bidders/contractors must follow the minority business enterprises/women's business enterprises [MBE/WBE] procedures set forth in the project manual/contract documents. In accordance with the "Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act" of August 15, 1961, prevailing minimum wage requirements apply to this project. The project completion date is specified within the conditions. Pre-qualification requirements: The County requires pre-qualification of bidders, including subcontractors, as specified in Section 102.01 of Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications, 408/2020, Current Change of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, on this project. Bidder certification of pre-qualification, classification and work capacity must be included with the bid. Only bonds written by Surety Companies acceptable on Federal Bonds per the current Federal Register Circular 570 will be accepted.
