The project consists of replacing 13 aging end-of-life rooftop AC units (RTUs) with new replacement units at the Beaverton Operations Center office space. Upgrades to the HVAC digital controls for these units and minor HVAC alterations to the data room HVAC will be made. Ceiling supply diffusers throughout are being replaced. The work includes HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and roofing work for one RTU. One RTU is a VAV multizone unit with ten interior single duct electrical reheat TUs and associated ductwork. The remaining twelve RTUs are single zone constant volume rooftop replacements that reuse the existing indoor ductwork. There are no changes to the existing building envelope, area, square footage, occupancy, interior partitions or separations, storm drainage, ADA, plumbing fixtures, fire sprinklers, egress, or exiting. The estimated value for this project is $850,000. All work is to be completed according to the schedule provided in the contract documents. Bidders must sign up with Bid Locker and complete a confidentiality agreement as part of the registration process. Bids must be submitted via Bid Locker by the specified deadline, accompanied by a required First Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Form within two hours of bid closing, and the original bid security must be delivered within five business days. Bids must be submitted on prescribed forms and be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond of five percent of the bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to furnish additional bonds for contract performance. Bidders must complete and submit a Statement of Bidder's Qualifications. Compliance with prevailing wage requirements is mandatory. The Owner reserves the right to reject non-compliant or non-responsive bids and to award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
