Location - The Dalles Campus 400 East Scenic Drive The Dalles, Oregon 97058 Hood River Campus 1730 College Way Hood River, Oregon 97031 Question Deadline 02/19/2026 Any objections to or comments upon the bid specifications must be submitted in writing to the attention of Chris McKay, Principal Vice President of Operations, HMK Company, 916 SW 17th Street, Suite 204, Redmond, OR 97756. To be considered, such objections or comments must be received at least SEVEN (7) calendar days before the bid closing date. The work consists of improvements at two campuses as follows: For The Dalles Campus, the project includes an ADA entrance at Building #1, parking and pathway improvements for Building #5 involving constructing a new ADA compliant pathway to Building #1, a new parking area, an adjacent asphalt pathway and concrete valley gutter, and the addition of concrete stairs and sidewalk to Building #5, all as per the project plans. For Hood River Campus, the scope includes campus-wide paving rehabilitation and construction of a concrete generator pad. The paving work entails pavement surface restoration, crack-sealing, asphalt removal and replacement for cracks greater than 1/2 inch wide, final seal coat placement, and restriping of all parking stalls across campus, as per project plans. Construction of a reinforced concrete generator pad is also included. Each bid must be submitted on the provided bid forms in a sealed envelope marked with the project name and the bidder's business details. Bids require a ten percent (10%) unconditional cashier's check, certified check, or surety bond. Bid documents are available from HMK Company's website. Comments or objections must be submitted in writing at least seven calendar days before bid closing. Bidders must comply with Oregon Prevailing Wage Law and be licensed by the Oregon Construction Contractors Board. Each bid must declare resident bidder status. If the contract exceeds $100,000, a First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Form is required. Bids must be firm for sixty days after the closing date. The College reserves rights regarding bid acceptance or rejection, waiver of formalities, and postponement of award up to sixty days. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held, and attendance by 11:00 AM is required for consideration as a bidder. No exceptions will be made.
