Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the remodel of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Bid proposals for the Barrington High School Campus Fine Arts Addition & Remodeling and Barrington High School Science Classroom Renovation at Multiple Schools Project located in Barrington, Illinois. The Barrington High School and Barrington Middle Schools Project will bid as multiple trade packages: selective demolition, cast-in-place concrete, masonry & AVB, structural steel & misc. metals, general trades, metal wall panels, roofing & sheet metal, spray fireproofing & acoustic spray, glass & glazing, carpentry & drywall, acoustical ceilings & wall panels, painting & wall covering, theater equipment, elevators, fire suppression, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, earthwork & site utilities, asphalt pavement & site concrete, and landscaping. Bidders must include all work associated with the contract documents. Refer to the contract documents for additional information related to the scope of work. Prime Trade Agreements for the Work will be assigned by the Construction Manager. All bids must be accompanied by a Cashiers Check or Bid Bond of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Base Bid made payable to Barrington Community Unit School District 220. Contractors shall guarantee their submitted Bid Proposal for a ninety (90) day period from the date of Bid Opening. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond for one hundred percent (100%) of contract value. Contractors Qualifications Statement must be submitted at time of bid or already be on file with Pepper Construction. Compliance with Prevailing Wages and all equal employment practices is required. The Community Unit School District 220 Board of Education is not obligated to accept the lowest or any other bid and reserves the right to reject any and all bids, reject non-conforming bids, reject conditional bids, waive any informalities and irregularities in bidding procedure, and to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder, as determined by the District. ** bid date info : Sealed bids shall be marked a SEALED BID, Attention Sarah Lager, Asst.
