Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Quincy, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The Quincy Park District is requesting bids from qualified contractors for the Moorman Park Multi Courts and Avenue of Lights Field Fence Replacement project. The fence replacement work is to be performed at both Moorman and Wavering Park in Quincy, Adams County, Illinois. Bidders must not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract. Proposals must include a 5% Proposal Guarantee as specified. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, accept other than the lowest bid, and to waive any irregularities or informalities in bids received. Replace sections of bottom rail around dugouts and backstops and retie fence. Remove and dispose of existing 5' fence in the outfield, first and third baselines. Install new heavy gauge commercial 5' galvanized fence with one 10' double drive gate at the same field dimensions as before. All posts must be schedule 40 Fence must be 9-gauge or equivalent All fence posts must be installed in concrete Work to be completed by November 1, 2026
