The Quincy Park District is accepting bids from qualified contractors for as needed mechanical dredging at the Art Keller Marina and the Kesler Park boat ramps in Quincy, Adams County, Illinois. The bid submittals are to specify an hourly rate to perform, as needed, mechanical dredging in and around these specified locations. Contractors must pay not less than the prevailing rates of wages to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract and must comply with the requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to accept other than the lowest bid, and to waive any irregularities or informalities in bids received.
