The City of Quincy's Traffic Signal Improvements project consists of providing complete installation and setup of video detection systems at eight various intersections. The project also includes removal of old CCTV detection systems and some relocation of existing traffic signal related items. The Engineering Manager will be the authorized representative for the City for the purpose of administering this contract. General Requirements - Certified Payroll - Insurance Required - Prevailing Wage Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % All bids shall be accompanied by either a bid bond on the "Proposal Bid" form contained in the proposal, executed by a corporate surety company satisfactory to the city of Quincy, or a bank cashier's check, an irrevocable letter of credit or a properly certified check for not less than 5 percent of the amount bid, or for the amount listed in the specifications. The City Council of Quincy reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities. No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening of the bids is past. Prequalification through the Illinois Department of Transportation for the full amount bid will be required.
