Site work for a water / sewer project in Quincy, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed proposals are requested for the relocation/adjustment of existing water mains for Mill Creek Water District, Quincy, Illinois. Bidders must submit proposals accompanied by a certified or cashier's check drawn on a solvent Illinois bank or trust company made payable to Mill Creek Water District, or a Bid Bond issued by a surety licensed to conduct business in Illinois and listed on the U.S. Treasury Department's current list, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to execute the contract and file an acceptable Performance Bond and Payment Bond within fifteen (15) days after the award of the contract. All contracts are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. Award shall be made to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. Mill Creek Water District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all informalities in the bids. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the specified time for receipt of bids.
