In general, the major work items include: Rapid set slurry seal and mill and overlay operations on City of Reno streets and parking lots, pavement patching, removal and replacement of pedestrian ramps, placing pavement markings, traffic control, and public relations activities, and other miscellaneous work as outlined in the plans and specifications. The Bidders attention is directed to Nevada Revised Statutes 338.01165 setting forth the requirements for the use of apprentices on public works which requires a contractor or subcontractor to comply with certain requirements relating to the use of apprentices on public works.
