Sealed proposals are requested for all labor, materials, supplies, tools, appliances, equipment, and services necessary for the installation of a chiller at Breckinridge Hall on the campus of Morehead State University, as specified in the provided specifications and drawings. Bids are to be submitted on a lump sum basis for the total project using the official proposal form. Only contractors who have obtained official plans and bid documents directly from the Morehead State Planroom may submit bids. All bids must include a bid guarantee of no less than 5% of the base bid, and the successful bidder must provide a 100% Performance Bond and 100% Payment Bond. The project schedule requires substantial completion by April 3, 2026, with final completion by April 15, 2026. Evaluation for award will be based on overall price (90%) and experience of the firm and team proposed (10%). Experience should be demonstrated with references and details of similar projects within the last ten years, including project information on change orders and schedule adherence. Key individuals managing daily operations must be identified and their resumes and experience provided. Preference may be given to firms showing supply chain diversification.
