Site work for a mixed-use development in East Hanover, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The Project consists of three (3) Base Bids and three (3) Alternate Bids for improvements to Lurked Park in the Township of East Hanover, New Jersey. The work includes construction of a new synthetic turf baseball infield, two (2) synthetic turf softball infields, sod baseball and softball outfields, the removal, reconstruction, and expansion of the existing parking lot, new stormwater management systems, installation of sports field and site lighting, electrical upgrades, and the installation of various site amenities. The synthetic turf is to be purchased and installed by others. The sports field lighting is to be purchased directly by the Township but accepted on site and installed by the awarded contractor. All work on this contract must be completed within one hundred-eighty (180) calendar days from issuance of a Notice to Proceed. bid bond or a certified check drawn to the order of Township of East Hanover for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, except that the check shall not exceed $20,000.00. The successful bidder is hereby notified that a performance bond and labor and material (payment) bond for the full amount of this project is required. The right is also reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities where such informality is not detrimental to the best interest of the Owner, except as to those items which are deemed mandatory and nonwaivable set forth in N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23.2. Further, the Owner reserves the right to abandon the project and reject the bids entirely if any legal or state or federal administrative action is taken against the Owner which could delay or jeopardize the project from commencing. The right is also reserved to increase or decrease the quantities specified in the manner designated in the Specifications.
