The project consists of the complete demolition and disposal of one two-and-one-half-story building and two one-and-one-half-story buildings formerly serving as the church community center. The project includes removal and disposal of all building materials and contents that contain Asbestos Containing Materials (ACMs), including interior and exterior lead-based paint. The project also includes filling the existing building footprint with new clean fill to the surface and all associated restoration. Proposals must be made on the standard proposal forms included with the contract documents, enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder and the project name, addressed to the Township. Proposals must be accompanied by a statement of consent of surety from a surety company authorized to do business in New Jersey and acceptable to the Owner, and either a bid bond or a certified check for not less than ten percent of the amount bid, not to exceed $20,000. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond and labor and material (payment) bond for the full amount of the project. Proposals will only be accepted from properly qualified bidders in accordance with contract requirements. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, increase or decrease quantities, or abandon the project if legal or administrative actions require. Bidders must comply with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements including affirmative action and public disclosure provisions. .
