The purpose of this project is to replace the remaining pneumatic HVAC controls with digital controls. Content and Technical Specifications Mr. Scott Fogler, McLean County Facilities Department Project Manager Telephone: (309) 641-3125 e-mail: Scott.Fogler@mcleancountyil.gov o The contractor shall provide all work necessary for a complete and operational system. o Tools, ladders, or other materials must be behind locked doors if left unattended. o Coordinate all work schedules with facility staff to avoid resident movement conflicts or disruption of daily operations. o Project planning by contractor to maintain continuous HVAC service to occupied areas o Functional performance testing of all equipment installed o Verification of control sequences o Alarm testing and BAS integration verification o Replace the remaining existing obsolete and filing pneumatic control system with a Distech Controls Building Automation System that fully integrates directly with existing Niagara N4 software and provides the latest hardware and technology. o Systems: o Furnish and install new BAS controllers to provide full control of each system o Provide programming to operate all connected devices o Provide graphics for each new controller on the existing Supervisor server o Run a new Ethernet network (CAT5e or better) to each new controller. Home runs will be made back to nearest IT switch, as directed by owner's IT department. Each run will include a spare cable from point to point o Re-use existing power circuits o Replace sensors and other field devices as required o Demo Pneumatic Devices o Demo Pneumatic lines back to main junctions and cap o Furnish and install a new UPS for each BAS enclosure o Provide on-site training for McLean County Maintenance Staff o Perform the work listed above and additional work below for the following units, where required to replace pneumatics: Exhaust Fans 1 through 5, 7 through 10 and 12. 1.
